A Very Cool Database: Images, Sound and More
Isn't this a grand picture? Don't you just feel this way sometimes? The image came from the AP Multimedia Archives, a database of images and audio files from the Associated Press. It's a fabulous resource offered from the library to students, faculty and staff. Our license allows students, faculty, and staff of SUNY Cortland to use these files in presentations, reports and other work including academic webpages. The images cannot be used for campus or academic newspapers or journals.
We have one silmultaneous use which means if one person is searching no one else can. If the demand for the database increases, the library will expand its subscription.
To find it, go to the library's web page: library.cortland.edu and Click on Find Articles -->Databases-->by Title and it will be on that first page.
